Oh What Do You Do In The Summer Time

Brynlee started swimming lessons today, she loved it and did a great job!

Nash wishes he was in swimming lessons too! He really wanted to get in the pool while we were watching Bryn. Last night Brynlee was so excited about her lessons she and Nash had a little practice session in the tub. At 7:30 she wanted to go to bed so that the morning and her lessons would come faster!

Since Brady and I both were goggles to lap swim, Brynlee insisted that she needed some too for her lessons! Lookin' good Bryn!

Cassie has been in heaven this summer, she's never had so much attention before!

The sandbox has also been a favorite this summer! It was well worth Brady's effort to put it in! And the hours of entertainment are a great trade off for a little sand in the house!

Cassie knows she can always get loves from Nash

I don't know if I've ever seen such a messy eater! He could seriously use a bath after every meal and every snack too! He insists on feeding himself most of the time which is nice but I don't know if he really gets much in his belly. Most of it ends up in his hair, on the floor/walls/highchair or across the kitchen.

These last two pictures are from our bear hunt, notice I didn't take any pictures of the bears, Brady was disappointed about that but I was afraid the flash would scare them! We did get them with the video camera though, so Brady will have to post a clip from there. I had a lot of fun, it was the perfect bear hunt for me because we got too see a mother bear and the two cutest smallest little cubs I have ever seen without having to "harvest" anything. The bears were so darling and such fast little climbers! Just watching them was enough for me. The fresh mountain air smelled so good, especially since it's still spring up there. In the afternoon big black clouds came rolling in and the thunder started rumbling, thunder in the mountains is awesome! I love it! When is started raining it really smelled good! We saw deer, elk, hundreds of squirrels, a coyote, and on our way back the truck a hawk flew just above us the whole way down the canyon. We live on such a beautiful earth! It was a fantastic day!

Good job on your sandbox. Looks like it was a success. my kids started swimming too, I haven't been too impressed with their teachers though because they do the same thing every week like put your face in the water and blow bubbles. That's good but maybe I should've put them into a higher class.
