Wrapping Up May

It looks like the kitchen table is on fire! Look at all those candles! Last Saturday was my birthday and for the first time ever, Brady made a cake! Yum it was delicious! I barely had enough air to blow out all 29 candles in one breath, I will definitely have to practice for next year! That morning as I was changing Nash, Brynlee and I were singing all of the birthday songs we could think of to me. We were singing one from Primary that goes, "One year older and wiser too! Happy Birthday to you!" But as soon as I sang the wiser too part Bynlee had a melt down, "Mom your not singing it right! It doesn't go like that! It's one year older and WIDER too!"

Okay so there is some truth to that but I like the wiser version better!

These little buddies are so adorable in their matching moosey jammies. Nash loves playing with his little brother, he has been trying to teach Ridge to throw the ball. He gives it too him, Ridge wiggles and kicks with excitment, Nash knocks the ball out of his hands and claps, they both laugh and then they do it again. I wanted to make a little clip to post on the blog, the only problem is whenever Nash sees the camara he stops what he is doing and trys to get the camara.

Meme (Nash for Brynlee) is honestly quite an amazing fisherwoman! She casts, she hooks them and she reels them in all on her own! She and Brady found a good spot to fish close by, they've already gone twice this week! Brady is so relieved to know that at least one of his children share his passion for fishing!

Refried beans are a Nash favorite, he not only eats them, but paints with them!

Spring Fishing

Brady took Brynlee and Nash on a fishing date a couple Saturdays ago. They had a blast! The kids love fishing with Brady. Brynlee caught a fish on her Barbie fishing pole and reeled it in all by herself, Brady caught the whole thing on the video camera. She was pretty excited! Here are the pictures he took.

Brynlee named her fish "Pot of Gold" because it was a rainbow and that's what you find at the end of the rainbow. Makes sense right?

They kept it because Brynlee said she would eat it but when we cooked it she wouldn't even try it so Brady had to eat the entire fish, good thing it was small!

Nash is just wishing it was his fish!

Garrett's Blessing

It's so fun to see Jordan and Arica with their sweet little babe. They are going to be fantastic parents! They are both so good with kids, Garrett is a lucky little boy! These pictures are from Garrett's blessing day.

Bryn's Dance Recital

Brynlee has loved being in dancing this year. She loves her teacher Miss Stephanie and being able to be with her friends and getting to dance in her costume. She did a great job at the recital! I didn't get any pictures of her on the stage because I was video taping it, so all I have are these pictures of the girls waiting. They did a cute tap dance to Splish Splash I Was Takin' a Bath and a beautiful ballet dance with their babies to a nice song that I can't remember the name of. It is fun to watch Brynlee dance and see how excited she gets about everything. Way to go Bryn! You did a great job!

Grandma Melva

Amber and her cute family came up a couple weekends ago and we were able to participate in the Race for the Cure. We ran in memory of our Grandma Melva, who passed away from breast cancer. We had a great time, the best part was thinking of our Grandma who neither of us had the chance to meet in this earthly life. Two of my Aunts e-mailed me pictures they had of Grandma Melva, it was fun to look at them and think about her and what she was like and what she might tell me if she were here. I am very excited for the day we get to visit, I have a lot of questions I'd like to ask her!
